WHAT TO EXPECT
Trying something new can feel intimidating — I get it. Yoga doesn’t have to be complicated or full of rules. When you come to class, here’s what you can expect:
You don’t need fancy clothes, expensive gear, or years of experience. Wear something comfortable you can move in, and if you have a yoga mat, bring it along. If not, mats are available at the studio.
A lot of people think yoga is only for the super flexible or super calm. Truth is, yoga meets you exactly where you are. Can’t touch your toes? You’re not alone. The goal isn’t to look a certain way — it’s to feel better in your body.
Every class is designed with beginners in mind. I’ll show you options and modifications so you can choose what feels right for you. You’ll never be pushed to do more than you’re ready for.
Nope. Flexibility is something yoga helps you build over time.
Perfect — you’re in the right place. Most of my students start exactly where you are.
Just yourself, comfortable clothes, and a mat if you have one. Water helps too.
Totally normal. Everyone feels that way starting out. The class is designed to help you relax, learn, and find what feels good for you.
Whether it’s your first class or your fiftieth, my goal is to make yoga something you actually look forward to.
You’ll leave feeling calmer, stronger, and more confident — and maybe even surprised at how much fun you had.
And if you’d feel more comfortable starting one-on-one, I also offer private sessions where we can move at your pace, focus on your goals, and build confidence before stepping into a group class.

These quick guides share what the practice is, why it’s worth trying, and what you can expect so you feel prepared and confident.
Power yoga is an energetic vinyasa-style class that builds strength, tones muscles, and keeps you moving at a quicker pace. Expect to flow through postures that connect breath to movement, with added opportunities to challenge yourself.
Gentle yoga is a low-impact style that moves at a comfortable pace, making it accessible to all ages and levels. With a focus on stretching and mobility, it’s a great way to build awareness and flexibility without strain.
Restorative yoga is a gentle, beginner-friendly practice that uses props and long holds to calm your body and mind. It’s less about “doing” and more about “allowing,” making it perfect for releasing stress and recharging.
Try a class or book a private session to see what it’s all about.
